Thank You to Medash Signs for Their Generous Donation

We are incredibly grateful to Medash Signs for their generous donation of a brand-new sign for our building!

As a non-profit charity providing childcare to families in our community, we really value the help we receive from local businesses. Having clear, welcoming signage makes a real difference to the families who come through our doors.

Thank you, Medash Signs, for your support — it’s very much appreciated.

We are very pleased to announce we have been awarded a grant for £2,500 to go towards a large piece of play equipment in our ladybird garden.

Thank you to Lawson Endowment for Kent who have awarded this and to Kent Community Foundation who worked together with us for this application.

Thank you to our local Cllr Linda Harman and the Parish council who have funded three benches to be made for our three garden areas. Local man Colin Wimble came to visit our gardens during the clean up day and then made these for us.

Ground Force Event March 2024

Saturday 9th March 2024 we had a Ground Force event to give our gardens a clean up and tidy up. Lots of families came to help and along with our staff put in a huge effort that has made a wonderful difference.

Ladybird Garden (2-3 year olds)

Over winter a lot of leaves and muck gets blown in here so it really needed a lot of work. Our ladybird staff and families spent most of the day here, cleaning, sorting, repurposing our play shed into an enclosed sand pit, building up a garden bed, and turning the old sand pit into a garden bed. We have some amazing people in our community and we are very grateful. Our little ladybirds are going to enjoy exploring all the changes we’ve made – and more to come!

Butterfly Garden (3-4 year olds)

We had lots of help here with Butterfly staff and families all getting involved. This whole area was cleaned up and reorganised. All these trees are wonderful shade during the summer but they do mean a lot of dropped leaves over autumn and winter. Its looking wonderful now and will be enjoyed every day as we spend time outdoors all year round.

Shared Garden

Our shared garden is our most recent area that has had the most work. Its looking great after a clean up and all the children will enjoy playing and exploring here.

A great big THANK YOU to AK Air Conditioning for installing a much needed air conditioning unit in our ladybird room in August (2023). What a difference it has made all year round, keeping us cool in summer and warm in winter.
